Jongert 59 Trewes Ketch

Here's an opportunity to own a classic but truthfully, the classics are for those who understand!
The current owner is still spending money on her upkeep so she’s not a dead boat. However the current owner has other boats in the collection and owned Nitessa purely for sentimental reasons having been a friend of the original owner in Singapore.

This vessel has seen about $100k of hull work in 2015, which included new steel plates grafted into the hull. Currently she is up on the hard for all new through-hull fittings and has just had a complete CopperCoat System professionally applied to the bottom.

With over S$ 150k having been spent on the yacht in th elasy few years, the current owner is seeking a decent offer to let her go to a new home.

X-Yachts 372 – A Scandinavian Performance Cruiser Lying in Singapore. SGD$ 25,000
Built in 1987 by X-Yachts Denmark, the X-372 offers an ideal combination of comfort and high performance. Designed by Niels Jeppesen measures 11.48m with a 3.57m beam and features a fin keel and balanced spade rudder. Its sleek GRP hull, ensure a solid and reliable X-Yacht sailing experience. The 372 offers both racing performance and cruising comfort, making it a fantastic opportunity for sailing enthusiasts. This particular X-372 has been in Singapore since arriving as a new boat in the 80's. She was regularly used until the owner passed away and then she sat for a few years. While in solid form she does need tidying up but the basics are alll good including a new CopperCoat Antifoul system applied just 6 months ago. Will suit the sailor who can spend some time to get her back into cruising shape.

A Rare Opportunity to Share the Historic Pinisi Schooner, Kita

"The Pinisi schooner, Kita, embodies the rich maritime tradition of Indonesia, specifically from South Sulawesi. Pinisi ships, built by the Bugis and Konjo peoples, have been masterfully crafted for centuries."

The Pinisi schooner, Kita, is a remarkable embodiment of Indonesia's rich maritime tradition, originating from South Sulawesi. For centuries, the Bugis and Konjo peoples have masterfully crafted these iconic wooden schooners, traditionally built from ironwood and teak. While Pinisi vessels were once primarily used for trade and fishing, Kita has been transformed into a luxurious yacht, representing a seamless blend of tradition and modernity. In 2017, UNESCO recognized the shipbuilding tradition of South Sulawesi as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, honoring the meticulous craftsmanship and ceremonial processes passed down through generations. Kita was constructed with strict adherence to UNESCO guidelines, preserving the authenticity of this ancient tradition. With its two masts, seven sails, distinctive curved stern, and prow, Kita navigates the Indonesian seas with elegance and grace. The ship’s construction involved deeply rooted rituals, including ceremonies for keel-laying and launching, emphasizing the spiritual connection between the builders and the sea. As a sail training vessel, Kita has introduced Indonesia’s youth to the maritime heritage that surrounds them. Now, we are seeking partners to share and care for this historic vessel, offering a rare opportunity to be a part of its ongoing story. If you're passionate about preserving a piece of living history, we invite you to get in touch.
